I have always been a big believer in eating the right foods and getting proper sleep to be happy, healthy with vibrant looking skin. The foods we choose to eat will affect our skin and health. Choose wisely.
The role of Vitamin C from fruits and vegetables play an important role in the regenerating, hydrating and protection of the skin.
A diet rich in antioxidants (vitamins A, C, E and omega 3 oils) will minimize the skin wrinkles because these antioxidants fight the free radicals that show up and damage the skin. Free radicals are oxygen molecules that damage cells, breaking down collagen resulting in sagging and skin wrinkles. Your body cannot store much vitamin C, so it is important to keep the body replenished with adequate amounts of these certain fruits and vegetables throughout the day.
Antioxidants protect your skin in that they support protein fibers that keep skin taut, strong and resilient. Collagen breakdown begins in your 30’s; so eating citrus and a diet rich in omega-3 will put off aging skin especially during this time.
Recommended Fruits and Vegetables are:
Oranges, grapefruits, cantaloupes, strawberries, lemons, limes, broccoli and tomatoes. Omega-3 oil enriched foods are fish and walnuts. Try to eating grains with flax seed. I personally use flaxseed meal in yogurt and cereal.
I also like to use Vitamin C Serum in my daily skincare. Our skin is permeable, so use products that have antioxidants in them. Antioxidants will rejuvenate the epidermis giving your skin a more youthful appearance.
So there you have it; externally and internally, the things you can do to turn back the hands of time.

I was amazed to learn how many of us are deficient in omega-3, and how much this fatty acid has to offer not just to our skin, but over all well being. Excellent post! I enjoy your blog and look forward to re-visiting as often as I can. You have a great message keep up the good work!
